The Southwold New Year’s Day Concert was a tremendous success, with all seats sold out in advance. Thanks to the efforts of our front of house team we were able to squeeze in a few last minute sales, and other ‘walk-ins’ were crowded in at the back.
The performers of the Southwold Chamber Ensemble and pianist Nathan Williamson, presented music by Mozart and Beethoven, plus an encore of Benjamin Britten’s New Year Carol – a heart-warming start to 2024.
Thank you to everyone who attended, the stewards and helpers who volunteered their time, and not least to the musicians for their wonderful performance.
