On Monday 2nd May, at 1pm, Southwold-based pianist will give a solo recital in St Edmund’s Church.
Nathan will perform a programme of two wonderful classical works – Mozart’s Sonata in F major K.533, and Schubert’s iconic final Sonata, in B flat major, D.960.
We hope that this wonderful music will be a perfect bank holiday treat for many, and finally welcome in the joys of summer and put what has been a long hard winter behind us all!
The concert will last just under an hour. As well as performing to a live audience the concert will be streamed live via Facebook live, YouTube, and into local care homes. Details on the streaming will be posted here in due course.
If you wish to attend the concert in person please purchase a ticket in advance – we would prefer not to have to sell tickets on the door if at all possible. Tickets can be booked by phone on 0333 666 3366 or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/southwoldconcertseries. All tickets are £15 if booked in advance. Seating will be on a first come first served basis, and the southern aisles of the church will be allocated for those who wish to socially distance.
This recital will conclude the Southwold Music Trust’s programme of live music supporting the local community through the pandemic, including several special concerts given to the children of Southwold Primary School. We are immensely grateful to our many sponsors, including the Southwold Trust, Paisley Charitable Trust, and a number of private individuals – and to you our audience!
