The Southwold Music Trust is delighted to announce that live music will again return to Southwold with concerts in St Edmund’s Church on Tuesday 22nd June and Tuesday 6th July. Both concerts will begin at 1pm and last just under an hour.
Both concerts will feature violinists Magnus and Marije Johnston and Southwold-based pianist Nathan Williamson, who teamed up so successfully with outdoor concerts on South Green during the first lockdown this time last year.
A socially distanced audience will be able to attend live in St Edmund’s Church, but the concerts will also be streamed live via Facebook live, YouTube, and into local care homes.
If you wish to attend the concert in person please purchase a ticket in advance – it is likely that we will not be able to sell tickets on the door due to covid safety restrictions. Tickets can be booked by phone on 0333 666 3366 or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/southwoldconcertseries. All tickets are £15 and seating will be on a first come first served basis.
You can find more information on the Southwold Music Trust website: southwoldmusictrust.co.uk or on Facebook @southwoldconcertseries or Twitter @southwoldcs
On the morning of each concert the performers will also stream a special performance live into Southwold Primary School. We are extremely grateful to the many supporters of this venture, including the Southwold Trust, Paisley Charitable Trust, and individual private sponsors, without whom we would not be able to carry out this activity.
