‘Heavenly’ children’s choir to perform in Southwold

We are delighted and honoured that the Southwold Town Mayor, Councillor Melanie Tucker, is soon to host a concert in Southwold in aid of her two nominated charities, the Southwold Music Trust and St Barnabas Care Home.

This concert will be held on Saturday April 30th, 2016, in Southwold’s St Edmund’s Church, beginning at the slightly earlier time of 3:30pm. This concert is totally FREE for EVERYONE, with a retiring collection being taken for the two charities.

The concert will be given by the hugely popular Southend Boys and Girls Choirs, who have gained an enviable reputation around the country for their wonderful sound and beautiful music-making. They have recently performed at the BBC Proms, St Peter’s in Rome and St Martin in the Fields.

We’d especially like to encourage children and their families to come along and hear the young people perform – come and get inspired!

Visit the Southwold Concert Series website for more information. Tickets are unreserved, so you can just come along on the day – but be there in good time to get a good seat, as we anticipate demand for this concert being very high…
